When reporting an issue, please include your device model, iOS version, app version, and a short description of what happened.

Common Questions

• How do I create a vocabulary card? Open Capture, take a photo or choose an image, review the suggested Japanese word, then save the card.
• Why is the camera not working? Make sure camera access is enabled in iOS Settings. If the device or simulator does not provide a live camera preview, try importing a photo instead.
• Why was no subject detected? Try a clearer photo with one main object, better lighting, and less background clutter.
• How do I review saved words? Open the Review tab to see saved cards and mark words as learned or mastered.
• How do I delete my data? Delete saved cards in the app when deletion is available. Uninstalling the app removes local app data from your device; manage device backups separately if needed.

Privacy

Hibi Lens processes captures and saved vocabulary cards on your device. The app does not use ads, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or our own backend server for your captured images.
